Data Analyst Intern - Sourcing & Compliance

We’re looking for a Data Intern to join our Sourcing & Compliance team for a 3-month engagement. In this role, you’ll help improve how we manage, analyze, and document operational data so our team can move faster and make better decisions.
This role exists to strengthen our internal processes by bringing clarity to complex datasets, improving reporting workflows, and reducing manual effort through smart automation.
You’ll have direct impact by helping transform raw data into actionable insights, improving documentation and structure across workflows, and contributing to scalable systems that support our continued growth.

What You'll Do
Analyze and clean operational data to improve accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reporting.
Build and enhance Excel and Python based tools and reports that support better decision-making.
Assist in automating recurring workflows using Python or advanced Excel techniques to reduce manual effort.
Standardize and document data processes to improve transparency and scalability.
Identify inefficiencies in current workflows and propose practical improvements.
Support ad hoc data requests with clear, structured outputs and insights.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure data is organized, accessible, and actionable.
What You Bring
Must-Haves
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, lookups, pivot tables; Power Query a plus).
Foundational knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation (e.g., pandas).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into clear insights.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple small projects simultaneously.
Nice-to-Haves
Experience cleaning and transforming messy datasets.
Exposure to workflow automation or process documentation.
Familiarity with e-commerce, supply chain, sourcing, or compliance environments.
