You will support our Inventory Management teams by developing robust analytical tools that provide a scalable foundation for our rapidly growing business. With a department focus on optimizing inventory levels, improving supply accuracy, and streamlining planning strategies, you will create solutions that enhance visibility, strengthen inventory strategies, and drive operational efficiency across the supply chain.

What You'll Do
Analytics & Reporting
Build, automate, and maintain dashboards and analytical tools that equip Inventory Management and Purchasing teams to make informed business decisions.
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities that impact inventory strategies and supply execution.
Develop forecasting, scenario, and business-driven optimization models that support inventory health, safety stock logic, purchasing decisions, and supply planning accuracy.
Translate complex data findings into clear insights and actionable recommendations for business partners.
Continuously refine and enhance existing tools to improve usability, accuracy, and alignment with evolving business needs.
Supply Planning & Inventory Optimization
Design and improve analytical tools that support inventory planning workflows and increase operational visibility.
Conduct scenario modeling and supply/demand alignment analyses to enable partners to anticipate constraints and make proactive decisions.
Develop and maintain analytical logic, guardrails, and calculations used by Inventory Management to support replenishment and inventory strategy.
Support monitoring of key supply and inventory metrics, providing analytical context and recommendations when performance shifts.
Data Utilization & Process Improvement
Leverage existing datasets to build accurate, business relevant tools.
Validate, interpret, and transform inputs from various data sources to ensure tools reflect accurate business logic.
Drive process simplification and automation of recurring analytical tasks to improve team efficiency.
Document tool logic, assumptions, workflows, and business-driven model functionality to support adoption and long-term sustainability.
Cross-Functional Partnership
Partner closely with teams across the organization to understand business needs related to inventory and supply planning, then translate requirements into effective analytical solutions.
Gather feedback from stakeholders to iterate on and enhance tools, dashboards, and reporting assets.
Serve as a strategic thought partner who uses data to support decision making—not as a data systems administrator.
What You Bring
- 5–6 years of experience in supply planning, inventory management, or related analytical roles.
Proven experience independently leading the design, development, and enhancement of analytics, reporting, and decision support tools within a supply chain or inventory environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or Operations Research, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or Statistics, Business, or a related field.
Expert level proficiency in Excel is required, with the ability to build complex formulas, and automated analytical tools.
Strong quantitative, analytical, and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to structure, interpret, and draw insights from large, complex datasets while moving fluidly between low level detail and high level conclusions.
Proficiency in data analysis, modeling and optimization techniques, with experience developing automated reporting solutions and dashboards.
Familiarity with supply planning and forecasting systems (e.g., NetSuite, Toolio) and the ability to leverage system outputs to inform decision making.
Experience with advanced data science tools or programming languages (such as Python or R) is preferred but not required.
Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset, consistently identifying opportunities to refine tools, processes, and analytical approaches.
Ability to translate business needs into effective technical or analytical solutions, ensuring tools and insights directly support decision making.
Excellent critical thinking and sound judgment, with the capability to navigate ambiguity and make objective, well reasoned decisions.
Skilled at structuring analytical outputs into clear, actionable insights that guide partners toward informed business actions.
